Unit 8 At the weekends

 一、教学内容:

(教育课程标准实验教科书  牛津小学英语)5B第一课时(Listen read and say)

二、教学目标:

1、要求学生能熟练地运用与周末活动有关的动作类词组。

2、能正确地听、说、读、写句型:

(1)How do you spend your weekends?  I often…

(2)How does he/she spend his/her weekend?  He/She often…

3、能正确理解与运用主语为第三人称单数动词的变化形式。

4、正确理解,掌握对话内容,并能朗读,初步表演对话。

三、教学重点:

能正确听、说、读、写句子:

How do you spend your weekends?  I often …

How does he /she spend his/her weekends?  He/She often…

四、教学难点:

能比较流畅地朗读对话,并能在正确掌握对话的基础上运用句型,以“weekends”为话题进行对话交流。

五、课前准备:

1、教具准备

a.写好句型的卡纸,及词组的纸片。

b.多媒体课件。

2、板书准备:

预先帖好课题   Unit 8

六、教学过程:

Step 1: Warm up:

① Greetings.

T:Hello, boys and girls! Today I’m a new teacher. First I’ll introduce myself .I’m Miss Yuan.

T:What’s your name?

How old are you? Nice to meet you ?

T:What day is it today?

S:Today’s  Monday.

T:There’re seven days in a week. Can you tell me what are they?

S:They’re Monday, Monday , Monday…

②Sing a song

T:Do you have any hobbies?  What do you like?

S:I like…

T:Can you sing and tell me your hobbies?

      (唱第二单元的“ Hobby”歌曲)

③Review

    T: Now, I know something about you .Do you want to know me?

    S:Yes.

    T:I also have some hobbies. Can you guess what do I like? (多媒体呈现各种动作的照片)Look !I’ve prepared some pictures, and I want to ask one of you to come to the front and guess, and the others do the actions together. Who’ll try?(请学生来猜,既激发了学生的兴趣,又巩固了动作类词组)

T:Look, I have many many hobbies, but I also have a different hobby. I also like catching insects.( 边说边拿卡片)

T:(师读生跟读) insects   ,insect   .catch insects. Catch insects.(贴在黑板上,并反复操练)

T:I like catching insects. Do you know insects? (手指单词 insects)

S:No.

T:Look, there’s a picture. They’re all insects. What’s this?(利用多媒体上的动物图片复习 第二课时中的昆虫类单词)

  T:Ok.  Do you like insects? Can you say a chant about insects? (多媒体课件出示 chant  的内容)

Ant, ant, ant, ant, ant.

Butterfly, butterfly, I like butterfly.

Bee, bee, I’m a bee.

Dragonfly, drangonfly, fly in the sky.

Cicada, cicada, I see a cicada, I see a cicada, I see a cicada.

Grasshopper, grasshopper, I like grasshopper, grasshopper.

Step 2: Presentation

①T:You know there are seven days in a week. Miss Yuan is very busy from Monday to Friday. But on Staurday and Sunday , I’m free. But at the weekends I am free.(边说边拿at the weekends 的纸条)[page]分页标题[/page]

(学生跟读三遍,并进行操练)

  T:But on Saturday and Sunday I am free. But at the weekends I am free.(边说边贴,完成课题)

T:At the weekends ,I often go to the cinema. I often go shopping. I often do housework. How about you? How do you spend your weekends? (说慢一些并拿出句型)

  T:(学生跟读三遍)spend ,spend,, spend your weekends. How do you spend your weekends?

     (用小组,集体,个人等形式进行跟读)

T:How do you spend your weekends?(边说边贴此句型)  I often go to the cinema.( 说时拿出 I often  的纸卡)

  T:I usually go to the cinema. I often go to the cinema>(让生理解 often  的意思)

      学生跟读 :I often    ( 二到三遍)

  T:I often go to the cinema.. (此时师不断更换划线部分的短语以复习动作类短语)

  (复习后师到生中运用新句型与生操练)

T:…

(Work in pairs,二人一组操练,选出三组同学在座位上表演)

②T:How do you spend your weekends?(问一女生)

   S:I often…

   T:(指该女生说) I know she often goes to the cinema. How does she spend her weekends? She often goes to the cinema. Now look at this card.(拿出How does she spend her weekends? 的卡纸,并领读3遍后,分小组,个人,男生,女生,集体等方式跟读)
