Step 1. Warming up
1. Sing the song： We are happy bees.
2. Free talk.
T: Boys and girls, are you happy?
S: Yes.
T: How are you?
S: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m not so good. I’m hungry. I’d like a cake.
Step 2. Presentation and drill(一).
1. （课件出现一只蛋糕）师问生Would you like a cake? Are you hungry? （并同时做动作，示范其意）
2. （出示单词）练习hungry和句子I’m hungry
3. 在学生一一说句子I’m hungry时，老师问What’s the matter?引出该句
4. 学习matter和句子What’s the matter?
比较matter与mother的发音区别（有学生会将这两个发音混起来）
5. T: What’s the matter?
S: I’m hungry.
T: Here’s a cake/hamburger/sandwich/… for you.（同时手做动作）
S: Thank you.
让学生以这样的对话进行chain drill.当最后一个学生和老师对话时，老师回答Thank you, and I’m thirsty, too. I’d like to drink some water.（同时做动作）
6.（出示单词thirsty）练习单词thirsty和句子I’m thirsty.
7. T: What’s the matter?
S: I’m thirsty.
T: Here’s a glass of water/some water/juice/… for you.（同时手做动作）
S: Thank you.
以这样的对话进行chain drill

1. Say a rhyme.
Matter, matter, what’s the matter?
Hungry, hungry, I’m hungry.

2. Say the conversation in pairs.
3. 请几组学生对话（有动作）后，老师对学生说What’s the matter? Are you hungry/thirsty/OK now?学生回答Yes, I am./No, I’m not.

1. 老师与学生对话，有学生回答I’m cold.时，老师请他jump high ten times,并与他一起跳，然后问Are you cold, now?老师自己说并带动作But I’m tired. I’d like a chair. （课件出现单词）再问该生What’s the matter? Are you tired?
2. 练习单词tired和句子I’m tired. Here’s a … for you.
3. （课件上出现看医生的图）练习单词ill和句子I’m ill.
4. 让学生想一想生病，可以提供什么样的帮助

2. Game 2. 考眼力（巩固新句型），快速说出图的内容。

1. 请学生打开书，跟读Part B录音，并拼读单词。

由于该题型做的不多，所以先请学生自己看该如何去做，老师指导做题方法：先听，连线，最后描画。
D. Look, read and complete。
先让学生口头回答，再写。

复习该单元的新单词与句子，背诵A, E部分及单词，熟练地说C部分句型。
