It's a rare rainy day in the hot summer, which makes the weather cool. My grandmother and I went to Shanghai Science and Technology Museum by subway.
When entering the science and Technology Museum, the first thing to see is the fossils of two Shu dragons. Their bodies are huge. Although there are only bones left, they are still six stories high. I can only barely see the outline of their heads when I lift them high. Compared with their bodies, their heads are too small. In my eyes, they are only as big as a watermelon, but they have a long neck. According to the data, their necks are 1 It's 3 meters long. I think it's a strange match. They also have the tail of a bone hammer, like a big hammer, which is their defensive weapon. Their feet are also very big. I tried quietly. They are longer than my people. They are as big as a boat. It's amazing.
We continue to walk in, the light inside is very dark, giving a mysterious feeling. Entering the exhibition hall, there are dozens of different kinds of dinosaur fossils and dozens of dinosaur eggs. The huge dragon head bone of Heping Yongchuan and the rare skin fossils of Mamen river dragon are extremely precious. They are either protected by glass or surrounded by railings. I also saw the fossil of Stegosaurus. Its body size is similar to that of today's elephant. It has two rows of bone plates on its back, just like two rows of swords, and two pairs of bone spurs on its tail. Although it is equipped with such a weapon, it is a kind of docile dinosaur, and it is said to be the most stupid dinosaur, because its brain capacity is only 5g, equivalent to the weight of a walnut.
There is also a large dinosaur fossil excavation site. There are tens of thousands of fossils in it. The scene is extremely spectacular. Looking at these fossils standing or hidden in the dust, we can imagine that billions of years ago, these dinosaurs were the greatest living beings on the earth, they were the masters of the earth, but now only the remains of fossils prove their existence. How do they survive on this earth? How did it die out? What mysterious language are these fossils, which have passed through hundreds of millions of years, telling us?
Looking at the surrounding text data, dinosaurs may have died out because of climate change, asteroid impact on the earth, food poisoning, and a large number of early small mammals stealing dinosaur eggs. However, these theories are not tenable. The real mystery of dinosaur extinction remains to be explored. What is the mysterious dinosaur story?
With this in mind, I left Shanghai Science and Technology Museum.
