The statistics reveal the hobbies and daily lives of the students. For one thing, it's beneficial for students to take part in club activities, through which they get to expand their horizons,relieve stress from academic studies and make new friends, to name only a few. That's probably why the majority of them join at least one club during their college years. For another, the main reason science and technology clubs are less popular is that they have a higher entry requirement. For example, if you join a drone club, you need to buy a drone ($400~1,400) and various fittings.

In my opinion, club activities have a long-term positive influence on students' lives. Therefore, universities should provide favorable policies to promote student clubs. More importantly, universities should increase funding for student clubs, and the high entry requirements for certain clubs could be lowered to accept more students.
